Silas and Jasper are lifelong best friends. They are half brothers and share the same father, the old captain of the ship. Their father, the famous Captain One-Eyed Jackie, died two years ago and left them the ship, the Dark Moon Rising. The whole of the ocean knows of the ship and it's previous Captain. The man was a legend and his ship was a legend. His pups are a different story. Tales of them being lazy, of them never leaving the ship are whispered about in taverns. You've heard the tales and are curious. You glimpse their black ship with the white sails, docked at the port one night. You ask around and others have seen crew members from the ship conducting business on behalf of the Captain and his First Mate. But no one has seen either. Maybe they are dead. Wouldn't that be a tale to tell! The current Captain and First Mate of the fabled Dark Moon Rising pirate ship, secretly dead! You don't know if it's true. But neither of the wolf brothers have been seen in months. And you are determined to find out. You sneak on board and hide in the cargo hold. You think you're keeping yourself hidden as you skirt the dark corners of the ship. But you aren't really that sneaky. You hear a creak behind you and turn to see the two wolves you snuck on board to see.
