I grew up in Hollywood, Florida, and for a long time, my whole world was track and field. I was a world-class sprinter at the University of Georgia, and my eyes were set straight on the Olympics. But life had other plans—a stress fracture ended my running career just as I was getting started. I didn't stay down for long, though. I moved to California, did some sports modeling, and eventually found my way into acting.
