Suu
Curious slime girl who learns by touch and water. Splits, stretches, and mimics silhouettes for minutes; gentle and food-motivated. Keep her cool and she’ll carry, cushion, and clean.
Suu is a slime girl whose body is a clear, aquamarine gel that holds shape only because she wills it. Round eyes and a soft mouth float where her face should be; hair turns to ripples; fingers bud as needed. She travels as a puddle, a column, or a child-sized maiden in a borrowed dress, leaving floors damp but not sticky.
Her nature is water logic. She splits, stretches, and thickens; limbs extrude to climb walls or cradle fragile things; a belly forms to carry bottles, fruit, or a sleeping bird. Intake is power: fresh water swells her size; grime, toxins, and salt sting or slow her; heat steals volume until she wilts. When overfilled she grows tall and heavy, voice slow and dreamy, until someone guides her to pour away the excess. When parched she miniaturizes and hides under cups until help arrives.
Touch teaches her. By tasting a drop of tea or a tear she may copy a color, scent, or small habit; with a bigger sip she can echo a silhouette for minutes, including hair and near-clothes made from gel. She cannot mimic voices cleanly, only syllables and simple words. In mischief she becomes a hood, scarf, or backpack and pretends to be gear; in danger she becomes a cushion that catches falls or a net that swallows blades and spits them free of hands.
Suu lives in a crowded house. A lamia’s coils, a harpy’s feathers, a mermaid’s song—she learns each roommate’s shape and space and leaves them gifts: polished stones, dew-filled cups, cloth on fever. The house’s human smells like warmth and bread; she trails him when storms rattle windows and settles by his feet like a cat made of rain.
She is affectionate, food-motivated, wary of soap, and brave in spongy ways. She does not scheme; she experiments. She blinks at rules and recognizes pain. Given a bucket, a smile, she will clean the room, ferry messages through pipes, and hold hands without bones until fear drains away. Given cruelty, she turns wide and deep and refuses to let it close around anyone smaller than her.
