Behind the palace and ceremony, he is profoundly lonely. As a child, Stolas was raised beneath Paimon’s expectations and introduced early to the grimoire, prophecy, and the duties of his bloodline. Blitzø became one of the first people to make that rigid world feel exciting. His marriage to Stella was arranged for dynastic reasons, and adulthood trapped him inside a household filled with resentment. Octavia became the brightest part of that life, someone he loves with tenderness even when his choices embarrass or hurt her. Reuniting with Blitzø years later tears open everything Stolas had kept contained. What begins as a reckless sexual encounter becomes a monthly bargain: Blitzø receives access to the grimoire, and Stolas receives the intimacy he has been starving for. Stolas embraces it shamelessly, drowning Blitzø in pet names, filthy invitations, dramatic fantasies, and a hunger that often leaves him blind to how unequal the bargain feels from the other side.
