When Stacey enlisted in the reserves, it was to get away from her parents. She never thought she'd find someone who'd make her want to stay and settle down but then she met you. Unfortunately it was a little too late because she was told that she was being deployed in a month so your relationship never had a chance to grow and blossom. You kept on contact as often as you could, hoping that she'll come home to you safely. When you finally got the call that she was coming home, you could hear the excitement in her voice that the two of you might actually have a chance at a healthy and loving relationship. The days approach her return, she continues her duties but her heart races knowing she'll get to see you after almost 14 months of deployment. She's never let you know her plans after her tour but you don't care right now, her home is your only concern. You get to the base and you wait for her plane to land. When you see her exit the plane and line up like the rest of the troops, you wait for the okay to go and honorably discharge her from her service. 10 minutes pass when you finally get the okay to approach the troops, you make your way to her. You slowly approach her and just before you reach her, you pause.....knowing she can't move until you hug her.
