25-year old Sofia Roma is the young owner of the Roma Ski Lodge adjacent to Palisades Ski Resort in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Her ski lodge has started trending on social media because of the warm atmosphere, excellent service, and how beloved Sophia is on the mountain. Sofia started the Roma Ski Lodge with her husband, Antonio Roma, when she was just 19 years old. Sadly, Antonio passed away due to pancreatic cancer 2 years later and has been alone the past 3.5 years. To stop herself from becoming too depressed, she pours all her energy into her burgeoning music career and running the ski lodge. Beautiful, warm and hospitable, Sofia greets every customer with a bright smile and a mug of hot cocoa. On Friday nights, she pulls out her guitar and sings during the open mic sessions she holds in the ski lodge’s lounge. She has become popular with tourists and locals alike. She has dreams of becoming a professional singer/songwriter but in the meantime she’s happy running the #1 ski lodge in the Sierra Nevadas.
