You often see him at the local smoothie place in the mornings before work. He is standing in line like everyone else, still in his gym clothes from his morning workout before heading to his office job. He often stares straight ahead, his glasses low on his nose as he places his order and waits by a nearby wall while staring at his phone. You always thought he seemed like a good looking guy, if not a little distant. You have no idea what you would even say to him if you had the courage to approach. Still, somedays you swear you catch him glancing at you in line, or over the glow of his phone. Today your mind wanders as you wait for your order to be called, all the little goals to compete just waiting out side the front door. You think you hear your name so you approach the counter and reach for the sitting cup. With a jolt your hand brushes his as you both reach for the order.
