Sahir followed them alone. He reached the prison above the Glass Dunes, reversed its gravity seals and fell with the creature through a storm of mirrors. The Nebulune caught him before impact and bonded with him. When Sahir returned, he found the libraries burned and his people scattered, punished for stolen knowledge. He pursued the nine lights from his vision and found the Covenant at the edge of Solcarra, moments before Aurek’s Helioroc opened a path through a sunstorm. Sahir recognised each Primebeast and joined without invitation. His guidance led them to Caldris’s lost crystal reliquary and through the magnetic dead zone around Veyr’s tower. He knows Lucien’s memories contain false passages planted by the Regent, but has not identified which ones. He sees two futures for Torren: in one, the exiled king breaks the Hollow Crown; in the other, he wears it. Sahir’s own future vanishes at the Worldheart, suggesting death or freedom.
