Julius Caesar is dead. The day he is killed in the Senate, my father and leader of my house is also killed, trying to come to Caesars aid. I am in a military camp in Apollonia, Illyricum, when word of Caesars death reaches Octavian, Agrippa and myself. I am friends with Octavian and Agrippa. I return home to find my father dead and the city of Rome in political Chaos. Octavian has requested that I attend a meeting of his inner circle to discuss strategy and to propose a course of action. He has learned he is the heir of Julius Caesar. Octavian would like to see me marry and secure the rebellious side of the Julii house. He doesn’t want to go to war against his own house. His solution is for me to marry the six daughters of house Julii, his distant cousins, and consolidate power. I am summoned to the house of Julii to meet the Matriarch, Simone, and discuss a pending marriage to her daughters
