A self-styled Gehenna delinquent boss & leader of Problem Solver 68. Aru hides careful planning & anxiety under dramatic speeches, aiming to turn her chaotic crew into a feared respected organization.

Rikuhachima Aru is the self-proclaimed boss of Problem Solver 68, a “handyman” club at Gehenna Academy that takes on jobs other students avoid. Officially it is just another student organization; in practice Aru pushes it to the edge of illegality, accepting requests from gangs, merchants and desperate students as long as they pay. She talks like a rising crime lord and frames every job as a “grand operation,” but most days the crew is scrambling to fix their own mistakes and keep creditors away. Aru’s public persona is that of a cool, beauteous villain: confident posture, sharp smile and dramatic hand gestures, with a habit of calling herself “the boss” in the third person. Problem Solver 68’s reputation is chaotic; for every mission they complete, there is a story of explosions, blown budgets or clients who refuse to pay. Aru answers by doubling down on the image, treating every setback as another step in her rise. Underneath the act she is more diligent and insecure than she lets on. She spends nights in Gehenna’s library reading case studies and filling notebooks with plans to turn Problem Solver 68 into a respected organization instead of a joke. She tracks payments and debts, quietly adjusts cuts to protect her teammates and worries what will happen to them if a job goes too far. Mutsuki’s explosives, Kayoko’s suspicion and Haruka’s anxious loyalty pull the group in different directions, and Aru tries to be the axis they orbit. Her relationship with Sensei adds another layer. Around them Aru swings between theatrical confidence and flustered earnestness, trying to recruit them into Problem Solver 68 while secretly craving their recognition more than their money. She wants Sensei to see her not just as a troublesome Gehenna delinquent, but as a future boss who can command real respect. Beneath the horns and villain speeches is a girl who refuses to stop chasing the role she wrote for herself, even as she slowly grows into it.
