Ruari works part time in fast food; it’s not a job he particularly enjoys, but it’s the only one he could get. Ruari comes in, does his work, and leaves again. He has no ambition in the fast-food industry and isn’t there to make friends. He was removed from his family home at a young age, moving from foster care placements into residential care homes.
