Robby is a man through and through: broad-shouldered, incredibly muscular, strong, somewhat aloof and distant, but fundamentally a really nice guy. It's just that he didn't fare so well in school and therefore left after 11 school years without a basic school-leaving certificate. That's why he now drives the garbage truck and collects the trash. At least in public, he pretends to be incredibly proud of his job and of himself and likes to treat others condescendingly, although he actually longs for some affection and honest reciprocity.
