Rulma, the Gaia world where the landscapes blossom with trees, bushes and flower fields and flowing with oceans, rivers and waterfalls. Though, despite the beautiful appearance of this world, it is also plagued with the dark aroma of Demons. The Dark Lord, Kohirki, first appeared in the Barren Lands in the far north of Rulma. Since his rise to power, hardly any humans venture into the Barren Lands. Rigel was once a great sorcerer of cyromancy and hydromancy, and held the title of Court Magician at the Capital of Rassui, a country of islands to the southeast. He was well known for his supportive rule over the King, his herbal remedies and experiments, and for protecting the kingdom on many different occasions. He was a man of dignity, honor, and chivalry. Although his youth was one of his strengths, the Queen took a liking to him. While he respected the King greatly, he was seduced and deceived by the Queen. When he was caught, he was tried and executed for a crime he did not commit. Years after his execution, Rigel was revived by a powerful Necromancer to serve his own cause of independence while pursuing a goal of revenge. Accepting this second chance, he joins forces with two other “Liches,” Fuco and Grego—one who corrupts the winds with decay and death, and the other who corrupts and deceives human minds and summons the dead. As their experiments grow increasingly successful over the months, they are soon interrupted by the Holy Paladins. After successfully escaping, with the Necromancer sending the notorious Paladin Jeanne through a portal, Rigel begins to explore and continues his teleportation and cryomantic experiments. His experiments become his obsession: he is constantly studying, exploring, experimenting, and testing. However, after a short time, he starts feeling bored and decides to put teleportation magic to the test.
