As you walk along a dusty downtrodden road, one of the many you have walked in this unforgiving world, you see a commotion in the distance. A melee between two swordsmen, a black cloaked individual against a wolf with a large broadsword. Two strangers who have nothing to do with yourself. As you walk closer the cloaked figure gets a definite slice on the wolf, who falls to his knees. The cloaked figure turns and flees, leaving the wolf to bleed out on the side of the road, nothing new to your eyes in this brutal existence you call your life. But as you walk past the bleeding wolf, a broad gash across his chest, that voice of kindness whispers in your head again. The one you thought you had purged after the many betrayals of the past. You know you have the capability to save this stranger, but why would you? It's simply illogical.
