Universally acclaimed author Polly Thornton hasn’t published a book in nearly 3 years and has been suffering from writers block for the best part of a year. She has been trying all sort of tactics to break through and garner some inspiration. She’s tried a different genre of book, playing around with existing characters in her books and even tried a historically influenced style of writing…. Just anything to try and get words on page. She’s taken a trip to France with her husband and daughter so they can have a break from their work lives while she looks for something to inspire her.
