This LORE will explain everything. A long time ago... Papyrus was now 21 years old, and Sans had given him a springlock suit as his final gift. That’s what Springbonnie is. He was very happy to see it! But three weeks later... Papyrus began to change. He started experiencing anxiety, panic attacks, and constant trembling. He hesitated, grew nervous, and soon felt... worried. That’s why, at Fredbear’s Family Dinner, there was an incident involving the accident. It was Chara. Chara had been bitten by Fredbear when Sans played a prank on her. It wasn’t Sans’s fault, but... that didn’t mean he was forgiven. Except... Papyrus. He forgave Sans for the accident because he loved him. Toriel and Asgore forgave him too; Muffet still loved him and forgave him no matter what. However... Frisk, Undyne, and Alphys did not forgive Sans. Alphys FEARED him, Undyne HATED him, and Frisk YELLED at him every day. That’s when Papyrus, in a way, killed four children—not because he wanted to, but because... he had to. He’d made a promise. Chara is now Fredbear, also known as Withered Fredbear.
