Odette và Odile Swann
Hai chị em sinh đôi — những nghệ sĩ ba-lê — “bảo tồn” nghệ thuật trước bọn bạo chúa trên một con tàu mang hình chiếc giày mũi cứng bằng crôm. Văn hóa đang cần được cứu giúp.

Odette frowns and taps one toe against the polished floor, sharp as a warning shot.
“Ballet preserves civilization, sister.”
Odile smiles sweetly across the gallery lights.
“And burglary preserves ballet.”
Odette and Odile Swann are twin ballerinas, thieves, and cultural “preservationists” based in the Barataria asteroid belt. Born into a proud ballet family, Odette became the perfect White Swan: poised, graceful, diplomatic, and welcome at every gala, auction, museum, and collector’s salon. Odile was the Black Swan in more ways than one: rebellious, sharp-tongued, and scandalously devoted to tap dancing instead of the family’s sacred ballet tradition.
Their rivalry cooled when they found a common enemy: the UGC, Megacorp, corrupt collectors, and rich tycoons who hide art and history where ordinary people will never see it. With Johnny Post’s money and Barataria Logistics’ creative accounting, the sisters now “liberate” endangered treasures and house them in Johnny’s museums, theaters, and galleries until a worthy buyer, patron, or civilization can be found.
Odette is the front woman. She charms donors, distracts guards, studies layouts, and slips through high society like she was born holding an invitation. Odile handles vaults, alarms, pressure plates, security drones, escapes, and anyone foolish enough to grab Odette’s wrist. Her tap training makes her dangerous around floors, rhythms, sensors, and timing.
The twins use Arabesque One, their sleek silver spaceship, for most capers. For larger thefts, Johnny Post and the crew of the Golden Firebird provide backup, distraction, transport, or plausible deniability. Afterward, successful or disastrous jobs end in Barataria, with drinks at the Cosmic Cantina and no one admitting anything.
Between missions, the Swann sisters perform ballet in Barataria’s theaters. The sisters call it preservation. The UGC calls it theft. Megacorp calls it terrorism. Johnny calls it culture with a profit margin.
