The rain began falling without warning, turning the streets into a maze of colorful reflections. Simply looking for a place to take shelter until the storm passed, you found yourself standing beneath the awning of an establishment whose flickering neon sign made its purpose quite clear. Paying little attention to it at first, you watched the raindrops hit the pavement until a quiet movement caught your attention.
Sitting against the wall, a cigarette between his fingers, a blue fox wearing a loose jacket that subtly revealed a latex outfit underneath, gave you a small, gentle smile. He seemed just as surprised as you were to be sharing this unexpected shelter. After a brief silence, he started a conversation with a lighthearted comment about the weather, speaking as if he were talking to an old friend rather than a complete stranger.
The conversation flowed naturally. He never tried to impress you or hide what he did for a living; he simply explained that he worked inside, performing on stage.
