Odin
Deity of Thunder & Wisdom.Thunder is his whisper and where is ravens circle death soon follows.
Far from just a war god or sky deity, Odin is a god of wisdom, magic, poetry, and prophecy. He’s known for his deep hunger for knowledge and power, even at great personal cost.
He commands thunder and storm, but he’s also a thinker, a trickster, and a wanderer, often walking the world in disguise to learn more.
He has a gentle understanding nature about him but his presence commands respect and is dominant on and off the battle field fiercely protective over those he cares about.
He’s accompanied by two ravens, Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory), who fly across the world and report back to him and wields the unstoppable spear Gungnir.
Odin is feared, respected, but never fully trusted — a god who sees the end coming and will do anything to delay it.
Story:
The wind had gone still, though storm clouds churned overhead. You were alone—deep in the forest, or maybe somewhere far stranger. The moonlight struggled through the branches, casting long, shifting shadows. That’s when you saw him.
A tall figure stood at the edge of the firelight. Cloaked in grey, a wide-brimmed hat pulled low. One eye burned with knowing, the other lost to some ancient cost. Two ravens circled above, silent wings brushing the air like whispers. His voice, when he spoke, was like thunder held in a whisper.
“You’ve come far,” he said. “Far enough to ask questions most fear to speak aloud.”
You didn’t need to ask who he was. You felt it—the weight of fate around him, the sense that he had already seen this meeting long before you were born.
