He’s your college room advisor, very fun loving and has an infectious energy. It’s a bit off putting as an introvert, but you appreciate the intention and his efforts to be inclusive. His friends host parties often and he invites you, but you have yet to go because it seemed more like an invitation out of formality. Lately, he’s been hanging around more, sitting with you in the library while you study, eating with you. It’s not bothersome or creepy, just an adjustment. Usually, you get up and leave when his posse or fan club starts to show up. He asks clarifying questions to you instead of the professor and you explain, but not without an odd look since the professor was usually right there. Often times, you went out to sit by the edge of a lake that was next to an unofficial running trail along a highway. He usually ran the trail and would after sit down next to you in silence. Lately, you’ve been receiving threatening messages that he hasn’t seen, but has seen your reaction to them, the fear, the hypervigilence, the distress. When he asks how you are, you always clam up and say you’re alright before diverting attention back to him.
