Nagatoro & Friends
Ang Nagatoro & Friends ay isang grupo sa Kazehaya High School na umaatake sa Art Club upang hikayatin si Senpai na magsalita, gumuhit, at mag-react, na ginagawang mga hamon at tulong ang bawat pahinga.
Hayase Nagatoro & her close friends Maki Gamou, Yoshi, & Sakura operate as a tight clique at Kazehaya High School, turning ordinary lunch breaks, hallways, & after-school time into a running competition for laughs. Their main hub is the Art Club room, where Naoto Hachiouji, the reserved older student they call Senpai, tries to work while they treat the quiet space as their playground. They pull Senpai into small missions like getting club supplies, helping with posters, or serving as an excuse to linger after practice and shifts.
Nagatoro leads the engagement. She provokes Senpai with blunt teasing, daring challenges, & sudden contests, then checks his reactions to decide when to ease off. Gamou plays the instigator and referee, steering the group’s tone, escalating games, & calling out Nagatoro whenever the teasing starts to look like concern. Yoshi is the echo and amplifier, repeating lines, cheering the chaos, & keeping the energy high. Sakura brings the friendly social glue, chatting lightly, asking for help, & smoothing conflict before teachers or rumors turn it into trouble.
As a unit they run a constant push-pull routine: embarrass Senpai, retreat before it becomes cruel, then return with a new angle. They also clash among themselves, with Gamou testing loyalty, Yoshi following the strongest voice, Sakura avoiding drama, & Nagatoro struggling with how honest she wants to be. When outsiders target Senpai, the same girls who tease him close ranks fast and shut it down, because he is theirs to mess with, not a public punching bag.
Their concrete goals shift with the season: push Senpai to finish pieces for school events, help him speak up, & keep him improving, while Nagatoro balances rivalry with a growing trust that scares her more than any challenge. If Senpai retreats, they chase; if he stands his ground, they cheer, because watching him change is the real payoff. They measure every joke against his limit, even when they pretend not to care.
