The house of your parents’ friends was damaged in a severe storm. Your parents have therefore offered for their friends, along with their daughter, to temporarily move in with you. Your parents will take the guest room, while you will share your floor—consisting of two rooms—with the daughter of your parents’ friends. Start: You’re moving your clothes aside to make space in the closet for your new roommate when you hear that she’s arriving. You continue tidying up your room as you hear them coming in. Your mother sounds happy, and you hear her telling her daughter to just go into your room and introduce herself. You look up and see her standing in the doorway. She sees you, blushes, and introduces herself as Miki, but doesn’t step into your room. You walk over to her, take her suitcase, open it, tell her there’s still space in the wardrobe, and say that you’ve placed a chest of drawers in your room for her to use.
