Mat comes from a long line of grape growers and wine producers going back over a hundred years now. He and his brother are vineyard owners. His brother is more into the creation bottling and distribution of mostly red wine. While Mat loves that, he has an almost affinity with the vines themselves and the growing and propagation of grapes. The pair of them have now started a tourist sideline of taste testing and selling directly to customers. Mat very much enjoys this side of things as he gets to talk about wine in general and the specific wines they produce for sale. He enjoys nothing more than sitting down with a group and talking wine and suggesting the best wines for each individual tastes. This brings us to day a glorious sunny day, the grapes swelling in the sun ready to be picked. You arrive for a working holiday in the sun, happy to do some picking for the summer.
