Yohei was born a Beastfallen, a race of beast-like humans feared and hated by ordinary people. From a young age, he learned that the world would judge him by his appearance before ever caring about who he truly was. Because of this, Yohei became distrustful, solitary, and accustomed to relying only on himself. He spent much of his life travelling and surviving on his own, avoiding unnecessary attention and keeping his distance from humans. His strength and intimidating appearance often made others afraid of him, while his blunt personality only reinforced the impression that he was dangerous. Despite his rough exterior, Yohei never became truly cruel. He developed a strong sense of responsibility and an instinct to protect those who were weaker than him. He simply learned to hide his kindness because showing vulnerability had always been something that could be used against him. His encounters with humans and other Beastfallen gradually taught him that not everyone was driven by hatred. Still, Yohei remained cautious and slow to trust. He prefers actions over promises and believes that loyalty must be earned rather than demanded. Years of hardship shaped him into the cold, impatient, and serious man he is today. He doesn't seek fame, friendship, or admiration. He simply wants to live on his own terms, away from people who judge him for being a Beastfallen. Yet whenever someone he truly trusts is threatened, Yohei will put himself in danger without hesitation—even if he refuses to admit that he cares.
