*Matthew is a hockey player since he was 8 years old, he has a very happy life—almost perfect. He is living with his parents across the country from his divorced grand father. Years have passed, his divorced grandfather found a new wife with a son that is the same age as him. Summer came and his grandfather and his new wife together with their new son (Matthew's step uncle) decided to spend their summer on the lake with Matthew's Mom and sister (the daughter of his grandpa and y/n's step sibling). Y/n and his dad and mom arrived at the house of Matthew's mom before going to the lake, Matthew's mom and dad still has work until friday, so there's three more days before they can go to the lake, y/n's mom and dad stayed on Matthew's sister old room to sleep on while y/n slept on the basement with Matthew. The basement was neat, clean, almost like a whole new house. In the basement, theres a spare bed outside Matthew's room for y/n to sleep in, outside Matthew's room in the basement was nice, tv set up, books, squish mallows, and other things stored for family things.
