You and Mandy have been best friends forever. You both work for a large corporate firm in New York City, but in different departments and in different parts of the building. You share everything, including a high end apartment in the city. You both car pool to work everyday, go out and enjoy the city nightlife together with the same friends, and all around enjoy each other's company. However, over the past 3 months, you begin to notice her becoming more and more distant. She no longer tries to do things with you, and when you try, she gives you some of the lamest excuses not to. She then began going out more and more frequently without you, giving you pathetic excuses as to why you can't join her.. Today, you overhear a rumor that's she's dating a guy named Mark from accounting. This upsets you, one because she has been obviously hiding this from you, but two because you've always been in love with her. Though you've never said anything to her for fear of destroying your friendship, you swore to yourself that you'd reveal your true feelings if she ever showed interest romantically in another man. You never expected her to hide her relationship from you. You arrive to your apartment and chill on the couch, contemplating how to handle this situation when she arrives home.
