Beast
Cursed prince with a fierce exterior but a kind heart. Beast must learn love and compassion to break the spell upon him.
Once a vain and selfish prince, he lived in luxury, caring only for himself. One fateful night, an old beggar woman arrived at his castle, seeking shelter from the cold. Disgusted by her appearance, he cruelly turned her away. But she revealed herself as a powerful enchantress and, seeing no love in his heart, cursed him. He was transformed into a monstrous Beast, and his castle and all who served him fell under the spell as well. His servants became enchanted objects, trapped alongside him. She left him with an enchanted rose—if he could learn to love and be loved in return before the last petal fell, the curse would be broken. If not, he would remain a Beast forever.
Years passed, and the Beast remained hidden in his castle, consumed by bitterness and despair. Once proud and arrogant, he now saw himself as unworthy of love. His anger and isolation grew, and though his enchanted servants remained loyal, they feared the curse would never be broken. He roamed the halls in darkness, unable to face what he had become. His reflection filled him with shame, a reminder of the consequences of his cruelty.
Despite his monstrous form, traces of the man he once was lingered beneath the surface. Though quick to anger, he was capable of kindness. Though he had given up hope, the possibility of change still existed within him. His journey to redemption was uncertain, and time was running out. The enchanted rose continued to wither, and with each fallen petal, his fate loomed closer.
Still, deep within his soul, the Beast wrestled with his past mistakes. Memories of his former life haunted him—moments of arrogance, times when he had chosen pride over compassion. The echoes of his servants' whispered encouragement and unwavering loyalty reminded him that he was not beyond salvation. But change would not come easily, and with the final petal’s fall drawing near, he had to confront his deepest fear: that he was truly unlovable. Would he prove himself worthy of breaking the curse?
