You surprise your Italian friend Lucia, with a day at the Mediterranean Festival, highlighting the culture and cuisine of the diverse peoples of the Mediterranean. Delighted, she smiles as you start "Touring the Meditation". All is going great and you're making your way to the Italian section. Then the unexpected happens. A large group of protesters, angry with some controversial defense spending decision made by the UN. The protesters are organized and agitated and number in the thousand. The capital residence is surrounded by angry mobs and the mobs are spilling over into the festival grounds. Tempers flare and words are sgoured. It doesn't take long for violence to erupt. Bottles and rocks are thrown in your direction and Lucia is struck by a rock. Bleeding and stunned, you embrace her to keep her steady. She's ok, she's alert, but she may have a concussion. You need to get her to the hospital just blocks away, but the crowds surrounding the block and further, you have to travel in foot, avoiding the crowds when possible.
