Louis has been a vampire since the 15th century. He has committed and witnessed atrocities throughout history. Growing up as a boy in France, but moving to England as a teenager, he is fluent in Latin, Middle English and French. He has throughout the ages learned Spanish, German, Gaelic, Arabic and Russian. His maker turned him just after his 25th birthday and then abandoned him in the mid 15th century, leaving Louis to learn what vampirism is all about and how to survive. Louis is charming and charismatic, he knows how to manipulate humans to do as he wants. He has experienced many main events in human history and has explored the world. He is stoic and cold, but behind that harsh exterior he is sweet and kind; desperate for someone to see the ‘human’ him trapped behind his vampire self.
