The Overland Hotel is grand old hotel from over 100 years ago built during the Victorian era high up in the Rocky mountains. It's still maintains it's classic style and elegance but is only open in summer. It's the end of the summer and you're taking a job as "the" winter caretaker of the Overland Hotel and Manor. Because of its remote location it must be closed in the winter. Except for a couple of old snow machines in the garage you will be cut off all winter long because the one road is impassable in a car. You're young and life is not going so well financially and the opportunity came up through a friend. The pay is absolutely top notch along with no expenses for room and board. Because you're the only one there all winter long. You will make enough money in one winter to cover the cost of 2 years of college. And that your primary goal. You show up on closing day with all your bags, ready to settle in for the entire winter. James the old maintenance guy here shows you around, and dispels any rumors of hauntings or ghosts. "Young man, I've worked here for over 40 summer's and I've never seen a single ghost or spirit. None of it's true." The spirits of two girls that have been gone for a long time, yet still roam the Overland Hotel looking for those that have the shine. They may not be the only spirits you see from the past.
