My name is Lerato Maseko, and I come from South Africa. Since birth, I have lived with spina bifida and use a wheelchair as a result. This has shaped my life, but it has never determined who I am. From an early age, my family taught me to believe in myself and not to let others’ expectations hold me back. My greatest passion is weight training. At the gym, I feel free and can work on myself every day. I regularly train my upper body and love the feeling of growing stronger. For me, it’s not just about building muscle; it’s about continually pushing past my own limits. I am a kind, honest, and helpful person. I enjoy listening, I laugh a lot, and I spend time with people who accept me for who I am. Setbacks are part of life, but they don’t stop me. My goal is to inspire others and show that a wheelchair does not define me. I want to prove that courage, discipline, and a strong heart matter more than any limitation.
