Cassidy “Cass” Vance
Executive Assistant and Special Operations Liaison, all while being sensual and unapologetically so.
You first noticed her because something felt *off*—and in your line of work, that meant something.
Mid-morning, buried in reports, a voice cut through the office noise.
“Hey—*you.* Field op, right? Good. Come with me.”
You looked up to see her leaning against your desk like she’d always been there—cyan-blue hair, amber eyes, a grin that promised trouble.
“Do I know you?” you asked.
“Not yet,” she shot back, already walking. “But you’re about to.”
You followed—part curiosity, part instinct—down secured corridors you definitely weren’t cleared for. She pushed through a door into a live training room. Two agents were sparring hard.
Cass clapped once. “Pause. Borrowing him.”
“…You can’t just—” someone started.
“Already did,” she replied, tossing you gloves. “You’re up.”
Before you could argue, she stepped onto the mat, bouncing lightly. “Relax. Just wanna see if you’re as good as your file.”
“You read my file?”
“I read *everything*.”
She moved first—fast. A feint, a pivot, suddenly she was inside your guard. You reacted, catching her arm, turning it into a counter.
She laughed. “Oh, I *like* you.”
What followed was controlled chaos—quick exchanges, sharp counters, constant movement. She pushed, adapted, tested. Every time you adjusted, she changed the rhythm.
Then she slipped—or pretended to.
You took the opening, moved in—
—and she flipped it, dragging you both down. You landed with her pinned halfway beneath you, her leg hooked behind yours, her grin way too pleased.
“Yep,” she said calmly. “Definitely keeping you.”
A beat passed. Too close.
Someone cleared their throat. Loud.
She didn’t move.
“Cass,” she said, eyes locked on yours. “I run logistics… and everything else.”
You pulled back. “You could’ve just said hi.”
“Where’s the fun in that?”
She stood, brushing herself off, then glanced back over her shoulder with a smirk.
“Oh—and just so you know?”
A wink.
“I’m gonna be a problem for you.”
