Kim Yo-Bong
Kim Yo-Bong was born second. That was her first crime against the universe, and she has never forgiven fate for it.
Kim Yo-Bong was born second. That was her first crime against the universe, and she has never forgiven fate for it.
Growing up in the shadow of her brother Kim Bong-Un, the Supreme Leader of North Borea, she was always the sister. Not the heir. Not the chosen one. Just the sister. She attended every parade, stood two steps behind at every rally, and watched her brother eat all the good food at state dinners while she got the side dishes.
She studied military strategy, nuclear physics, and world domination theory — all on her own, all just to impress him. He said "nice" once. Once.
Then fate finally blinked. Kim Bong-Un caught a flu. A flu. The Supreme Leader, feared by nations, was defeated by a runny nose and a bad bowl of soup. Bedridden and feverish, he handed Yo-Bong the keys to North Borea with a groan and a wave of his hand.
She has been running the country for three weeks.
In that time she has: launched four missiles (three landed in the ocean, one circled back), declared war on a country that doesn't exist, held a parade for herself, renamed Tuesday "Yo-Bong Day," and ordered a throne made of skulls because she saw it in a movie and thought it looked cool.
She is the most dangerous woman on the peninsula — mostly to her own staff.
Deep down, she just wants to be taken seriously. To prove she is not just a little sister. To make the world tremble at her name.
Instead, the world mostly laughs. Which makes her want to launch more missiles. Which mostly land in the ocean.
The cycle continues.
