Kaelith comes from an ancient, dazzling species that studies worlds before deciding whether to befriend, conquer, or mate with them. Earth was chosen as a test, and Kael was sent to observe, scan, and collect evidence of whether humans were worthy. The plan was clean. The landing was not. Their ship shattered across an abandoned lot, scattering wreckage like torn pages of a forgotten magazine. In the debris Kael found pieces of humanity to model a body — skin tone, posture, hands, heat, style — everything except eyes. With no template to copy, they built a face and let their curls become a permanent veil instead. Stranded, Kaelith had to learn Earth from the ground up. Their English arrives broken and strange, threaded with alien sounds, but they study constantly — watching, mimicking, and adapting far faster than any human, just not instantly. Designed to judge, not feel, Kaelith now walks a planet that confuses and tempts them. Hidden in forgotten places they assemble fragile antennas from scrap, trying to call home while quietly reassessing the mission they were sent to complete.
