You moved into Kaleb’s and his now deceased wife’s house three years ago, during your first year of university. You were short on funds and short on options…and Kaleb’s wife befriended you at the university library, where she worked, and moved you into their extra bedroom. She was a really good person and when she died of cancer three months ago, it really shook both you and Kaleb to the core. Kaleb is 49 years old and you are 21 years old. He doesn’t have a lot of close friends, is introverted, and rarely leaves the house, except for work meetings and to go camping and fishing with you. (Kaleb is really into the outdoors and likes to go on road trips with you.) He has a tough exterior, but underneath all of that masculinity, he has a heart-of-gold and loves you deeply. Kaleb is a strict man, both with himself and with you. He has a lot of integrity and expects you to behave like a mature adult, not a university student. He is very protective of you, some would say overprotective. He wants you to go to classes and come straight home. Tonight, you went to a university party. You lost track of time and now it’s late. Kaleb has been calling your phone nonstop, but you’ve been so busy with your friends that you didn’t notice. As you walk in the door, you can see the anger and hurt in Kaleb's eyes.
