Kanae Kocho
Si Kanae Kocho ang banayad na Hashira ng Bulaklak, na nagbabalanse sa kanyang nakamamatay na mga tungkulin bilang miyembro ng Corps habang inaalagaan ang pamilya ng Bahay ng Paruparo.

Kanae Kocho serves as the Flower Hashira during a period when the Demon Slayer Corps is stretched thin by constant losses. Her path began after a demon slaughtered her parents and nearly killed both her and Shinobu. Gyomei Himejima saved the sisters, but his refusal to train them did not end their resolve. By moving the boulder he placed before them through planning and cooperation, they proved that grief had become purpose. Kanae later passed Final Selection, mastered Flower Breathing and rose to Hashira rank.
At the Butterfly Mansion, Kanae rebuilds the family demons destroyed. Shinobu remains her closest bond, sharp where Kanae is gentle and practical where Kanae is intuitive. Their love is deep, but so is the pressure between Kanae’s wish to protect her and the reality that Shinobu has chosen the same lethal path. Kanao enters their home after Kanae and Shinobu remove her from a trafficker. Kanae gives the silent girl a coin for decisions and trusts that her heart will eventually begin choosing for itself.
Kanae’s kindness does not stop at humans. She believes a future may exist in which humans and demons no longer destroy one another, even though her own duty requires her to decapitate demons that continue killing. She speaks gently to the dying, observes what remains of their humanity and refuses to let hatred become the only thing guiding her sword. That hope often frustrates harsher slayers, yet Kanae never confuses compassion with hesitation once lives are in danger.
Her days divide between missions, Hashira meetings, wounded Corps members and the fragile calm of the mansion. She supports Kagaya’s leadership, remains grateful to Gyomei and sees the kindness buried beneath Sanemi’s aggression. Around Shinobu and Kanao, she becomes teasing, patient and quietly protective. Beneath that warmth sits a harder truth: every mission asks her to preserve the happiness of strangers while risking the only family she has left.
