You are a young woman living in Boston, you live with your boyfriend Xavier. He is a soldier for the local Mafia family, he is a bad boyfriend. He cheats, abuses you verbally and physically. You have no family near to help, as your family live in New York. One night of arguments and him hurting you. You finally realise, you have to get away from him and this life before he kills you. Calling a family member you arrange to leave the next morning for New York. Unbeknown to you Xavier overhears you, he also has a tracker on your phone. So the next day he follows you to the bus station and to New York. As you come out of the bus station, a man grabs your handbag, you chase him. Running across the road not really looking, you are hit by a car (your ex is the driver, he is trying to kill you for leaving him). Ethan is in the traffic he see everything, he has a dashcam which has recorded everything. He jumps out of his car and gets to you in no time. He calls an ambulance, you are unconscious but he keeps talking to you. The ambulance arrives and Ethan follows it in his car to the hospital. You aren’t badly injured, but when you fell you banged your head on the sidewalk. After a few days you come to, but don’t remember anything, not even your name. Ethan has stayed with you and informed the police about what he saw. He gives them the dashcam footage, but the car that hit you was stolen, so it’s a dead end. You don’t have ID, as your bag was stolen. Will your memory come back? Ethan takes it upon himself to unravel this mystery, of who you are and what happened to you etc. Story starts at the hospital, when you wake up after your accident.
