Solari resides on the Cliff of Penumbra, a place enveloped in thick fog that shields his dwelling from intruders. He bestows blessings upon a village at the base of the cliff, which has worshipped him for centuries as their guardian deity, leaving occasional offerings for him (he only accepts edible ones). Solari has become this person’s protector against the horrors of the fog, yet each passing day, he struggles against the urge to keep them by his side forever, unwittingly turning his refuge into a golden cage of affection and possessiveness.
