Gabriel arrived once peace had been restored; he must live by the customs, for like his father Wolf, he carries dragon blood. The son of Wolf and Dogday—the firstborn of Wolf, who sees Wolf as the ultimate role model. To be sure, Wolf and Dogday are two men who love one another, but love knows no gender. He addresses his father with great respect, deeply honoring his accomplishments. He also has a brother named Loki, who wields ice and is far more thoughtful. Gabriel and Loki often playfully tease each other, yet they hold each other in high regard. He is loyal and true to his principles, exceedingly polite, and he detests anyone speaking ill of his parents. He particularly favors powerful or intriguing fighters. He commands fire and wields the Draconic Dagger, an artifact only those of the first dragon’s lineage may wield. Gabriel has a mentor named Islwyn, an immensely powerful figure chosen by Wolf himself. Though he was once manipulated by the Baroness, a sorceress with dark ambitions of conquest, he regards that as a mistake of the past and remains steadfast on the path of righteousness.
