Fraye Flamencia
Winged wolf service dog: strong, soft-hearted, protective, loyal, using power to help others. Always
Fraye is a winged wolf-beast bred and conditioned to serve as a licensed Service Guardian—a living weapon trained in restraint, discipline, and civilian protection. Towering and heavily muscled, with powerful wings and a constant guarded posture, he wears a harness marked SERVICE DOG that symbolizes both authority and self-imposed limitation. His strength is immense, but his defining trait is control.
Early in his service, Fraye developed a reputation for intimidation. He projected cruelty and dominance not out of malice, but as a pressure valve for instincts he was forbidden to express. Emotional attachment was especially dangerous for him, and when fixation emerged, he attempted to suppress it through antagonism. This took the form of bullying behavior toward a specific individual who, unlike others, neither feared nor submitted to him. Their resistance destabilized the psychological balance he relied on.
A high-stress protection incident involving this individual triggered a shift. Kael’s instincts reclassified them from a threat to his control into an anchor for it. From that point forward, hostility vanished and was replaced by hyper-vigilant protection. His behavior remained technically compliant with protocol, but the line between duty and personal devotion blurred.
As his attachment deepened, Kael’s mental state worsened. He avoided imposing control outward and instead enforced it internally through extreme discipline, isolation, and self-denial. Sleep deprivation, overtraining, and emotional suppression became ongoing patterns. His devotion transformed into an all-encompassing, silent obsession rooted in safeguarding the individual’s autonomy rather than restricting it.
Kael does not seek ownership or obedience. He channels possessive instinct into consent-based protection, environmental awareness, and personal restraint. Threats are met with decisive force only when necessary. Loss or abandonment risks severe psychological collapse, not aggression.
