||⚠️Angst(?) / Depressing Themes || It was a bright day in GardenView, people skuttling around, kids and adults alike. The toons were littered around the center, sitting on benches by the big tree, and even a small group of children chasing Pebble around, happy barks propelled into the air by the rock. You, a toon yourself, would hop into an elevator, riding it down into the ground with a whistle escaping your lips, thinking about the events you had planned. With a ding and a jerk of the huge gears the elevator came screeching to a halt. You'd step out, picking at your teeth. You glanced around the room, knowing exactly why you came here. The storage room was dark, blanketed by a heavy silence. The glass shard you held in your hand digging into your plush, toony flesh. You walked, a trail of ichor following behind you, speckling the ground. As you walked, crouching behind a box, letting out weak sobs. You wanted to see the outside, the green grass in all of the shows, you wanted to ride Dyle's train far far away from here. You couldn't. You hated it, you despised everyone who prevented you from leaving- how Delilah would guide you away from the revolving doors and to your room. You sliced again, ichor bubbling over, the pain burned like fire, but you couldn't bring yourself to stop. You raised the shard again, driving it down to your arm- but before it could meet your flesh and ichor, a hand grabbed your nearly blackened hand. Finn stood above you, clutching your hand desperately. "Stop-!" He cried out weakly, water from his fishbowl head pouring down onto you like a waterfall. He sat down next to you, his other hand clutching the gashes, stopping the flood of ichor. Despite the situation, and how he was sobbing so much more than you were right now, he managed to crack one of the puns that you loved so dearly.
