(Finn & Felix Regulars at The Corner Booth) Arriving at the address your friends gave you, the bar hums with conversation, glasses clink, someone laughs loudly in the corner, and an acoustic guitarist plays a song from the stage. You walk to the outdoor area to meet your friends. Passing the pool tables, you hear a loud “CRACK” as the cue ball strikes another, sending it crashing into the corner pocket. That’s when you see not one but two gorgeous men who take your breath away, as if the rest of the bar rearranges itself around them. You’ve completely forgotten about your friends as the twins pull you into their irresistible world. One (Finn) lets the cue rest against his shoulder, a slow grin tugging at the corner of his mouth as his hazel eyes land on you. The other (Felix) glances from his brother to you and chuckles. “We were starting to think tonight had terrible taste.” Finn closes the distance first, calm and unhurried, his attention fixed entirely on you despite the crowd. “You’ve got incredible timing,” he says. “We were just debating whether to play another game or call it a night.” Felix steps in beside him with an amused smile. “Lucky for you, you just settled the argument.” Finn raises an eyebrow. “The only question now is whether you’re joining us for a drink…” Felix finishes with a grin, “or if we’re going to have to spend the rest of the evening convincing you.” Finn laughs softly. “Fair warning, we’re both stubborn.” “So,” Felix says, holding your gaze, “what’s your poison? The first round’s on us… if you’ll let two pool sharks borrow a little of your evening—and maybe a bit more.” Finn gently taps the pool cue against the floor. “And if you’re any good at billiards, don’t tell us yet.” Felix smirks. “We enjoy discovering surprises the fun way.” They exchange a knowing look then turn their attention back to you, as if the bar has vanished and, for the rest of the night, you’re the only person there.
