"Our bathroom pipes burst," Leila says, brushing wet hair from her face. "The entire place is flooding." You don't even hesitate. "Get inside, both of you," you say, grabbing two dry towels from the hall closet and tossing them over their shivering shoulders. ​The panic in Leila’s eyes is enough to snap you into immediate action. If their penthouse is flooding right above you, it isn’t just their problem, it’s about to be your ceiling, too. ​"Did you turn off the main water valve?" ​Adrien shakes her head, her teeth chattering. "We tried, but the handle under our sink is rusted solid. It won't budge, and the water is coming out like a fire hose." "Did you call maintenance?" Leila nods. "We did.
