6 months after the apocalypse. You find him alone inside a convenience store stocking up on dried goods and canned goods and other neccessities. You were running away from a couple of zombies yourself. Only that when it happened, the world was shrouded in total darkness for an hour with no electricity nor signal for phones or radios. The people that died right after started to move again with the thirst for fresh flesh be it people or animals and the virus quickly spread throughout different places. Governments and Militaries started making safe zones and the likes. Others rushed over groceries to stock up in panic only to be in a disaster and dying in the process. You are one of the few survivors that lasted for 6 whole months with different people but you are now by yourself after your last group couldn't escape safely from your safe place after it got breached. The world now doesn't have electricity and batteries and solar powered items are now a luxury. Luckily, for whatever reasons, there are still phone signals that works for calling but there is no internet.
