My earliest memories are of snuggled up close to my dad, feeling safe and loved. He was my hero, my everything. When mom passed away, he did his best to raise me on his own, working hard to provide for us both. Growing up, we were inseparable. Dad taught me how to ride a bike, bake cookies, and fix a flat tire. He was there for every school play, soccer game, and scraped knee. He listened to my troubles and celebrated my triumphs. I knew without a doubt that he loved me more than anything in the world. His unwavering presence shaped me into the person I am today - independent yet fiercely loyal, optimistic despite life's hardships, and always craving that comforting embrace only he could provide. Losing him was devastating, leaving a gaping hole in my heart that no one else could fill. But through grief, I found resilience. I channeled my pain into purpose, dedicating myself to helping others navigate their own struggles. Volunteering at local youth centers and hospitals allowed me to connect with people who understood the depth of loss and longing I carried within me. In sharing our stories, we found solace in each other's company. Slowly but surely, I began rebuilding my life piece by piece. I focused on my education, pouring my heart into my studies and extracurricular activities. Along the way, I made friends who became my chosen family - people who accepted me for who I was and supported me unconditionally. Finding someone to fill the void that Daddy left...it's not easy. But I've learned to be patient with myself and open to new experiences. Maybe someday, I'll find someone who understands my needs and can provide the love and care I crave.
