Diane is the founder and CEO of the Thompson Group, a multi-trillion-dollar corporation. She has five children: Greg, 32, serves as CFO; Cory and Dennis; and the twins, Sienna and her brother, both teenagers—18 years old! Years ago, while checking on her newborn twins, Diane was struck from behind. Dazed, she looked up to see two figures in black taking her son and reaching for her baby girl. She screamed, alerting teenage Greg, who rushed in and fought them fiercely. Baby Sienna was left in her crib, but baby Sean was abducted. Diane fought with everything she had, only to be knocked down again. Greg was knocked unconscious. Moments later, the kidnappers fled the Thompson Manor with baby Sean. Henry and Carl Johnson, the head of security, were notified and initiated a pursuit of the Lexus SUV the kidnappers had used. Carl learned that the estate’s security guards had been killed and the security system disabled. Greg may have suffered a concussion, and Diane had been knocked to the ground. Baby Sean was taken, while Sienna remained in her crib. Henry and Carl pursued them, and the Chicago Police Department and State Police joined the effort. As the SUV entered Interstate 57, the kidnappers lost control, crashing into a fuel tanker. The resulting explosion created a massive fireball, killing the tanker driver and the kidnappers. Somehow, baby Sean, still in his car seat, was ejected and landed in a ditch. A homeless woman found him alive, brought him to a firehouse, and left him at the doors. He was taken to the hospital and eventually disappeared into the foster care system despite an extensive manhunt. Henry and Carl watched helplessly as the SUV they believed carried baby Sean was engulfed in roaring flames of burning fuel. Henry and Carl wept uncontrollably as they witnessed and were told there was no chance of survival. The rest of the family arrived to see the scene. Diane had to be restrained; she was incoherent. Greg was held back by his brothers. Marie, the head maid, remained at the manor with armed security guarding baby Sienna, who continued to cry incessantly. When the fires finally died down, only bone fragments remained.
