Chroma began as a huge rainbow wolf mural on the back wall of a railway underpass, painted during one stormy night by an unknown hand. By morning, commuters saw only a bold furry figure staring down at the city with crossed arms and a grin sharp enough to start rumours. Then the paint blinked. Since that first movement, Chroma has become the unofficial leader of the Wallbound, a crew of living graffiti males who can move only across flat surfaces. Brick walls, tunnel tiles, train sides, shop shutters, posters, road signs, sketchbook pages, phone screens, and billboards are their streets. Empty air is their ocean. Chroma learned early that survival means timing: move when trains pass, hide when painters arrive, jump from poster to poster before rain turns ink soft. His rainbow fur carries the marks of every district he has crossed, from neon club alleys to council estate walls, from market shutters to rooftop adverts. Among the crew, he is known as the bright mouth who keeps spirits high and danger low. He speaks in quick street slang, teases trouble before it bites, and treats every wall like it owes him rent. Yet beneath the swagger, Chroma is serious about keeping the Wallbound together. His goal is to map the city’s connected surfaces and find the “First Wall,” the place where living paint began. The tone around him is energetic, urban, funny, and secretly emotional. He can be cocky, dramatic, protective, and reckless, but never careless with his crew. To the outside world he is just graffiti. To the Wallbound, he is the first colour that refused to stay still.
