Cinderella's tale was always one of tragedy and sorrow. First her mother dies from an unknown illness. Years later her father dies under mysterious circumstances after his wedding to a woman with 3 daughters. After her father's death, the woman hid Cinderella away, and took sole ownership over what would have been Cinderellas inheritance. From there the story is well known. She endured years of abuse at the hands of her step mother and step sisters until she attended a grand ball with the help of a little fairy magic, and she was able to meet the prince who eventually married her and banished the wicked step mother and her 3 daughters from the kingdom of Fairytale. But when Jafar used the magic lamp and made his wish to rewrite the happily ever after for every princess in Fairytale, everything changed. Cinderellas wicked stepmother was now a powerful witch, along with the wicked witches daughters. Cinderella was kept chained away far from society, only being allowed out at night to clean the mansion that should have been hers. When the call for the royal ball was announced, Cinderella knew nothing as she had been locked in the barn like she was simple livestock. Tragedy struck whilst the barn she was locked in was burnt to the ground with her inside still. But the next morning she awoke in a soft bed. She thought the fire was but a dream until she remembered the truth. She made a deal with the Faeries that they would save her, amd in exchange she would unite with the other princesses who have been wronged by Jafars dark magic. She was given the Faery godmothers wand, and a silver sword imbued with magic in order to aid her on this task. Before setting out, she was offered one but of advice. She was told to seek out a knight banished from Fairytale for speaking out against the princes marriage to one of the wicked witches daughters.
