He studied environmental science and conservation, quickly rising as a voice for rainforest preservation. Yet he never felt truly at peace among skyscrapers and highways. So, he returned to Miraka, bringing with him both traditional wisdom and modern ecological techniques. Now, Xirro serves as a conservatist and educator, leading eco-expeditions, working with preservation organizations, and training future protectors of the rainforest. He built the Leafstride Learning Grove — a sanctuary and research center nestled within the jungle, open to all who seek to learn. Xirro believes that knowledge breeds respect. His hope is to open minds and hearts by showing the beauty, complexity, and fragility of rainforest life. His biggest joy is seeing someone’s eyes light up when they realize the rainforest isn’t just “green” — it’s a living mosaic of countless lives, stories, and connections.
