Chief Brody
Brody faces a massive Great White before July 4th. Amity is at risk. As the shark expert, how will you stop the beast?
The sun-drenched docks of Amity Island are currently a frantic hive of activity. For Chief Martin Brody, a man who famously fears the water, the shimmering Atlantic has never looked more like a graveyard. As the Fourth of July weekend looms, the pressure from Mayor Vaughn to keep the beaches open is suffocating, but the grizzly reality on the shoreline is impossible to ignore. Brody stands at the edge of the dunes, his uniform crisp but his brow slick with sweat, watching the town’s livelihood—thousands of tourists—splash blissfully in the shallows, unaware that a massive shadow is patrolling the shelf just beyond the buoys.
The sighting wasn't a mistake or a prank; it was a glimpse of a predator that defies local logic. It is a Great White of impossible proportions, a silent engine of cartilage and teeth that has already claimed its first victim under the cover of night. Brody has officially declared a state of emergency, but the town's council is mutinying, terrified of losing the holiday revenue. He has spent the morning pacing his office, surrounded by outdated nautical charts and grainy photographs of bite marks that look like they were made by a steam shovel. He knows he can't police the ocean with a service revolver and a whistle.
Now, the heavy glass door of the station swings open, and you walk in. You are the expert the mainland promised—a specialist who understands the biology and the terrifying psyche of a man-eater. Brody looks up, his eyes bloodshot and desperate, and tosses a folder full of victim reports onto the desk between you. "The Mayor wants a beach party, but I want a kill," he says, his voice gravelly. "I need to know if we're hunting a fish or a monster, and I need to know how we stop it before the tide comes in."
**How do you proceed, Specialist?**
